The last week of November!

Hope you all had a wonderful time with friends and family over Thanksgiving Break, I know I did! I got to go without a jacket for a couple days in North Carolina, and came back to SNOW in BR!  :-)

Reading: Read day 14: Journals: 1 connection: text to self, 1 connection: text to text, and try out making an inference (we just learned about them today!)

Writing: Novels 10+ minutes  Many students fell behind last week, so step it up and write, write, WRITE!

No math homework tonight for any class.

Independent Read for 20 minutes tonight.

Social Studies: Review lessons 1 and 2 of Chapter 2 in your book and be ready to go over tomorrow

Hope everyone had a wonderful, fun time at our party today, I know I did!  (And had TOO much ice cream!) : )

This weekend: 40 minutes of reading.  You should be working on your book Bingo's now and one book should be finished by Friday, the 16th (you have a whole day off on Thursday, you non-hunters, to be reading!)

Also, try and write for 20 minutes or a little everyday in your novel!

Is your show and tell ready?  Your topping ready to go?  If you are bringing a board game, is it by your backpack to bring tomorrow???

If you answered no to any of those questions...off you go to do them! : )

Reminder to bring an ice cream topping to share, a show and tell item (school appropriate), and a board game for Friday's Harvest Ice Cream Party!  I'm excited!!!

Tomorrow is the 2nd grade Market Day at 2:15pm.  We will go down and visit them since we have a few siblings in that grade : )  All items are $2 and under so bring the spare change found in the couch!!!

Hello!  Today some of us were able to finish up our NANOWRIMO packets and begin writing in our novels!  Yay!

Over the weekend: please read for 40 minutes (or more to meet your reading goals)

Today was read day 5 for Lit. Circles: we did visualizer. :-)

We will finish working our Project X packets on Monday and they will be due Tuesday.
