Spotlight Due Friday, Sept. 18

Math: Home Connection (worksheet in blue folders) p. 1 and 2: spend 10-15 minutes on this assignment. The "Challenge" does not have to be completed but students can try it.  We are getting into the habit of trying homework and bringing it back the next day. :)

Allow your student to work on their own.  By working on their own, students show me what they know/what they remember from the lesson that day.  They also get an opportunity to show you what they know!  Please guide them with good homework skills: find a place that's quiet and allows your student to focus.  Guide them to stay focused and on task.  Also, try not to tell them they're "wrong" but rather to "try again."  You all are wonderful parents/guardians!!!

The assignment does NOT have to be complete but try to spend 10-15 minutes of working on it.

Grandparents Day is next Friday!  Please return RSVP slips (gold) ASAP!  Thank you!
