We continue with MAP testing this week (Thursday morning). Our astronomy unit continues as well as continuing to write our autobiographies.
We will start writing daily in planners this week, so if your student doesn't have one, look for a planner "worksheet" in their yellow take home folders.
Looking forward to a great week!

9/11/12
Remember this day 11 years ago? I know I do and I'm so THANKFUL for our brave heroes that day! I also respect and honor those who lost their lives during this terrible tragedy. Today, we had a discussion and watched a BrainPop video on 9/11. We also wrote an acrostic for heroes today, which will be a published book. Ask your student what they learned. Tell them what you remember about this day, now over a decade ago.
In learning news:
We started our astronomy unit today. Ask your student about rotation and revolution!
Writing: Autobiography vs. Biography?
Assigned work:
20 minutes reading (don't forget to sign those logs!) (I'm also way over my allotted 20 minutes for the day, hence the late post!)
Spelling Study: The 3 S's
