Note to parents about planners

Parents:
4th graders have planners.  I sign these every night to communicate your child's homework/events, etc.  It is also a great way for them to take responsibility for their work.  We (student, parent, and teacher) signed a contract saying we would use these.  I know it's something new in 4th grade and the students are getting used to them as well, but please try and get in the habit of checking them and signing them.

The blog and the FB page are a great way for me to share what homework every student has but if a student doesn't complete something in class, it may be homework.  This is why checking planners is the best way to see what they need to do every night.  Thanks for your help and your support in helping your 4th grader be a successful student!
