Ready for School?
Hi future students for the 2013-2014 school year!
I bet you almost turned off the TV when the school adds started appearing weeks ago, I know I did! Too early! I'm not ready to go back! I like sleeping in...I like playing outside...I like...But sooner or later, the school days will begin...
And although this year will be different, since I will not be returning until mid-October since I'm having a baby...the school year is starting and you will have to get up EARLY starting Sept. 3rd!
We are expecting our little girl to arrive around Aug. 23rd (next FRIDAY!). I will try and post a blog entry ASAP when she comes so you can see her!
Just because I will be gone for the beginning of school doesn't mean I'm not SUPER excited for school to start! I can't wait to get to know each and every one of you...and aren't you lucky to have TWO teachers, not just one this year.
Although I will most likely not be able to meet with you on Open House night, I will be there in spirit! I hope you enjoy getting to know the classroom and seeing your classmates! We are going to have a wonderful year!
Enjoy the rest of your summer...it will go by quickly!

If you wanna fill a cup
It takes 8 to fill up (fluid ounces)
It’s plain, it’s just as easy

If it’s greater multiply
Less then divide (x2)

Back to school! Happy 2013!
Hello! Hope this post finds everyone rested and ready for a new year!
Spelling: Finger Tracing: find a volunteer to spell your words with...on their backs! If not, use a stuffed animal or cloth or your own arm! Spelling each word twice!
Reading: finish last read day: Journals: summary and 5 WWW words
Writing: a few friends had rough drafts to finish of their reindeer persuasive essays
Math: none for all classes
IR: 20 minutes: book bingo finished by next FRIDAY!
Note: PLEASE send students with hats and gloves! I saw many students out in the snow today without them! By staying bundled up, we stay healthy! Thanks!
Band/Music concert TOMORROW! Please have students here at 6:30pm (please no earlier as there will not be adult supervision). Dark pants/skirts and red/blue shirts for non-band members.
Awards Assembly make-up will be this Thursday at 2:15pm.
Have a great evening! So glad to see everyone today!
